Nexly

Nexly MCP server

Your analytics, inside the AI tools you already use.

The hosted Nexly Analytics MCP server lets Claude, Cursor, Codex, and other MCP clients read your traffic, funnels, reports, and Search Console data, and lets coding agents add your project to Nexly end to end. Connect with OAuth in about two minutes.

How did traffic change last week?

Visitors are up 18% week over week, mostly from Google search.

Beyond questions

Your agent can set up and run Nexly, too.

From install to invites in one chat

Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex installs tracking, then handles the rest: events, funnels, traffic filters, team invites, and public links. Every action runs with your role in the app.

What your agent can do

Add Nexly analytics to this project.

  • Installed @nexly/next and received the first event

Add a pricing-to-signup funnel, stop counting /admin, and invite anna@acme.com as an editor.

  • Created the Pricing → Signup funnel
  • Excluded visits to /admin
  • Invited anna@acme.com as an Editor

Share the dashboard with our investors.

  • Published a public dashboard link

What you get

Everything your dashboard knows, in your AI tools.

Hosted

One URL, OAuth, done

Add https://api.nexly.to/mcp as a custom connector and approve access on the Nexly authorization page. No tokens to copy and nothing to run locally.

  • Claude Desktop, claude.ai, and the Claude mobile apps
  • Cursor and Codex (app, CLI, and IDE extension)
  • Any OAuth-capable MCP client

Full picture

The same data as your dashboard

Connected tools call analytics tools and can narrow any breakdown to a segment such as a source, channel, country, device, campaign, or page.

  • Overview, time series, pages, sources, countries, and devices
  • Custom events, funnels, reports, and anomalies
  • AI traffic and Google Search Console data

Safe by design

Scoped and revocable

Authorization uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE, tokens are short-lived, and every connected app can be disconnected from Settings → Connected apps.

  • Agents follow your role in each app and never delete apps, rotate keys, or touch billing
  • Access limited to data your account can already see
  • Disconnecting revokes all of an app's tokens at once

Ask where you work

In a chat

Ask Claude how traffic changed over the last 28 days or to summarize the latest weekly report, without opening the dashboard.

In your editor

Check which pages drive signups from Cursor or Codex while you are working on those pages.

Across segments

Ask which pages visitors from LinkedIn read, or how a campaign converts, the same way filters work in the dashboard.

Set up tracking

Ask Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex to add Nexly to your project. The agent picks the SDK, creates the app, installs it, confirms the first events arrive, and sets up custom events and funnels.

Inside Vaiz

Connect Nexly to the Vaiz workspace and its agent ties traffic to the projects and launches behind it, then drafts follow-up tasks.

Common questions

Do I need an API token?
No. The MCP server accepts OAuth connections only: you approve access on the Nexly authorization page. Personal API tokens are for the read API and do not work with MCP.
Can an AI agent change my data or settings?
Only what you approve and your role allows. With the apps permission, an agent can create apps, install tracking, name custom events, manage funnels and traffic filters, invite viewers or editors, and publish public dashboard and report links. It can never delete an app, rotate ingest keys, grant admin access, transfer ownership, or change billing, and it never edits your analytics data.
How is this different from Insights?
Insights is the AI assistant built into the Nexly dashboard. The MCP server brings the same analytics into AI tools you already use, such as Claude, Cursor, or Codex.
Is the MCP server included on the free plan?
Yes. Every feature, including the MCP server, is available on every plan, free included.
Can I use Nexly inside a project management tool?
Yes. Vaiz, the workspace from the team that built Nexly, connects to the Nexly MCP server, so its AI agent can check how a launch or campaign moved traffic and turn the answer into tasks. Use Nexly inside Vaiz.
