Use Nexly and Vaiz together via MCP
Vaiz is a project and knowledge management workspace from the team that built Nexly. Both products have a hosted MCP server, so one AI agent can work with your analytics and your projects at the same time: check how a launch moved traffic, find the task behind a drop, and create follow-up tasks with the numbers attached.
There are two ways to set this up:
- Inside Vaiz. Add Nexly to the Vaiz AI chat. The Vaiz assistant reads your analytics without leaving the workspace.
- In your own agent. Add both servers to Claude, Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex. The agent reads Nexly and works with Vaiz tasks and docs in one conversation.
Both MCP servers use OAuth. There are no tokens to copy: you approve access once on each product's authorization page.

Connect Nexly to the Vaiz AI chat
You need a Vaiz workspace and a Nexly account. The setup takes about a minute.
Step 1: Open the chat settings
In Vaiz, open the AI chat, open its side menu, and click Settings at the bottom. Scroll to the MCP servers section and click Add MCP server.
Step 2: Add the Nexly server
In the Connect MCP server dialog, fill in:
- Name: Nexly
- Server URL:
https://api.nexly.to/mcp
Click Connect.
Step 3: Authorize Vaiz in Nexly
A window with the Nexly authorization page opens; sign in to Nexly first if you are not signed in already. The page lists Vaiz AI Chat and exactly what it will be able to do. Review the permissions and click Authorize.
The window closes, and Nexly appears in the MCP servers list as Connected, with the number of available tools. From then on, the Vaiz assistant can call Nexly tools in any chat.
Share Nexly with your team (optional)
Space managers can share a connected server with the rest of the space from the server's menu in MCP servers. A shared server runs on your Nexly account: teammates in chat and space agents use it with your access, and their requests are attributed to you. If teammates have their own Nexly accounts, ask them to connect Nexly themselves instead.
Connect both servers to one agent
Add each server the same way you would add it alone. Step-by-step guides with screenshots:
Short versions for the most common clients:
Claude (Desktop, claude.ai, and mobile apps): go to Settings → Connectors, choose Add → Add custom connector twice, once for each URL, then click Connect on each connector and approve access.
Claude Code: add both servers and sign in to each.
claude mcp add --transport http nexly https://api.nexly.to/mcp
claude mcp add --transport http vaiz https://api.vaiz.com/mcp
claude mcp login nexly
claude mcp login vaiz
Cursor: add both servers to ~/.cursor/mcp.json, then click Authenticate next to each one in Customize → MCPs.

"vaiz": {

Codex: add both servers; Codex opens each authorization page in turn.
codex mcp add nexly --url https://api.nexly.to/mcp
codex mcp add vaiz --url https://api.vaiz.com/mcp
What you can ask
Once both are connected, mention the project or task by name and ask for the numbers behind it. For example:
- "How did the pricing page launch affect visits and signups this week? Add a summary to the launch task."
- "Signups dropped on Tuesday. Check which pages and sources changed, and create a task on the Growth board for whatever looks broken."
- "Compare traffic from the campaign in APP-512 with the previous month and add the result to the task."
- "Which docs pages get the most visits from AI search? Make a task to update the three oldest ones."
- "Build a weekly traffic report for the marketing project and save it as a document."
The agent reads analytics from Nexly and creates or updates tasks, projects, and documents in Vaiz. Clients such as Claude and Cursor let you choose per tool whether the agent asks for approval first, so you can allow reading freely and keep changes on approval.
Permissions and disconnecting
Each product applies its own permissions:
- In Nexly, the agent follows your role in each app. Connected tools can never delete an app, rotate keys, grant admin access, or change billing. See Security.
- In Vaiz, the agent sees only the spaces, projects, and documents your Vaiz account can access.
To revoke access to your analytics, open the Nexly dashboard, go to Settings → Connected apps, and click Disconnect next to Vaiz AI Chat or your AI client. To remove Nexly from the Vaiz AI chat, open Settings → MCP servers in Vaiz and choose Delete in the server's menu.
